My Story
I had originally been a Scentsy consultant back in 2009. I had to close my account when buying a house in 2012. After several years of being out of the business but still buying several times a year, I decided to get back into selling.
I was first introduced to Scentsy in 2008 - 2009. I really liked the idea of the flameless candle. At the time I had two teenagers who liked burning candles in their rooms. I was concerned about them not blowing out the candle and leaving the house or falling asleep. I loved the idea that you could melt the bars with a lightbulb! No burning down the house!
Once I bought my first warmer and scent, which I believe was Perfectly Pomegranate, I was hooked on the products. I am more of a fruit and citrus type girl and they had all the scents I enjoyed. I am always amazed at how they can nail a scent like Around the Campfire or Welcome Home.
I originally became a Consultant when I realized the potential of the income that was available. I resigned up for the same reason, and rereading my original story it is funny how things come back around. Back in 2008 I had been required to take a furlough day once a month. I thought Scentsy could make up for the pay lost at the time. 2020 I am right back in that same situation having to take a furlough day once a month. I know Scentsy can provide me the missed income from my furlough. I know if I dedicate the 8 hours a month that I would have been at work and redirect that energy to Scentsy, that I can make above and beyond what I am missing from my furlough. I am looking forward to what future Scentsy brings.
